UADPhilEcon welcomes all back to the 2nd Semester. Click here for important information for all students.
01 February, 2010

UADPhilEcon is about to embark on the current academic year's 2nd Semester. A warm welcome back to all.

The 2nd semester timetable has been finalised. All students are advised to pay attention to the following:

1st year students

Please click here for a copy of the timetable. As you will see, it has been put together painstakingly. It is packed with lectures and tutorials. The tutorials have been designed to facilitate learning and be complementary to the lectures. You are reminded that attendance is compulsory. If you have any queries, please write to info@uadphilecon.xx (replacing xx with gr).

2nd year students

The list of Table A and Table B courses, as well as the details of the course Research Method Seminar – RMS)  have been finalised. Click Table A and Table B to peruse the offerings. Also, click here for the semester's dates (even though this is the 1st year timetable, the dates are the same).

As of this semester, new enrolment rules for Second Year Phase 1 MPhilEcon students are in effect: Students must pre-enrol in their options/courses before the semester begins. The deadline is Friday 19/2, the last Friday prior to the new semester’s commencement. Please visit our website, or click here, to peruse the Table A and Table B options.

Flexibility is introduced into the new enrolment system by allowing students to enroll on a maximum of 4 options per semester (excluding the Research Method Seminar – RMS). Up until Monday 26/2 students can swap up to one of their enrolled options for one in which they had not enrolled. Naturally, students may drop options at will – as long as they have amassed the minimum required number of courses by year’s end.

All students (Phases 1 and 2)

UADPhilEcon is putting a great deal of effort and resources into organising research seminars, public lectures etc. Your presence is expected (and this is not a mere 'prediction' but a statement of your moral and institutional duty). Your continuing progress within UADPhilEcon will be monitored and judged, to a significant extent, by your attendance at such events.

With wishes for a productive Second Semester
